Projects we’re producing and self-funding because we deem them essential for the common good. We also see them as rich opportunities to test-drive new methodologies and hypothesis directly in the field.

Al fresco art cinema in dialogue with Chioggia’s fishing community.

A curation and cultural mending practice driven by a deep sense of gratitude towards one of Italy’s largest fishing communities and their unapologetic, non-conforming attitude.

Inclusive screenings and open discussions of works of art from coastal communities near and far, designed to help fishers see themselves with new eyes.

A series of community art productions to collectively prototype alternative futures in greater balance with fishers’ needs and the environment they depend on.

  • What if those who have no agency over cultural production and environmental governance were given an opportunity to make art and enforce new environmental rulings?

  • Can new, trustworthy relationships among individuals combat distrust towards public institutions?

  • Can more resilient futures be prototyped through playful, collaborative community art experiments?

A restorative time for artists and cultural agents to explore new ways of nurturing each other.

A way to build community around the need to rest, recharge, and replenish after intense seasons of creation.

An alternative source of creative mentorship, up-skilling and networking opportunities based on radical generosity and reciprocal care, rather than transactional dynamics.

A 2-week communal living project hosted at a non-capitalistic nature reserve and commune in the Venetian lagoon.

  • What if the path toward a greater sense of community isn’t though technology but through a new attitude between individuals?

  • Can time spent in accelerating someone else’s growth trajectory benefit our own?

  • What if the fastest way to grow is to share more of our private lives and private property?

A traveling practice of experimental, participatory food research that explores what it tastes, looks, and feels like to live in a society where tradition is no longer used for ‘othering’ people but to generate new, inclusive, multicultural experiences.

  • Can we foster a more inclusive society by normalizing new flavors?

  • What if taste could be the key to non-polarizing, transformative cultural conversations?

  • What if we all had the authority to define what is traditional and what is not? What is exotic or authentic? What is inherited or silently appropriated?

Experimental artistic practices for community grieving.

An open invite to transform a boat wreck from a reminder of danger into a vessel for collective healing. A new embodied community ritual to help process unspoken grief.

The first iteration included an original song, dozen of anonymous confessions and over an hour spent voicing over fears, regrets and unresolved feelings in a newly created safe space.
